1. What this policy covers
This policy describes cookies and similar browser technologies used on the Kevin Williamson Design website. A cookie is a small text record stored by a browser. localStorage is a related browser feature that can retain a small amount of data for a particular site.
2. Essential consent record
When you choose “Accept” or “Essential only,” the site stores that choice under the key fieldFormConsent. This prevents the banner from appearing on each page. The record remains until you clear site data. It is essential to remember the preference you requested.
3. Project board storage
When you save work or objects, the site stores their names and categories under fieldFormProjectBoard on your device. This enables the list to persist as you move to the contact page. It contains no name, email, payment information, or hidden identifier and is not transmitted by this static site.
4. Optional analytics
No optional analytics are activated in this build. If privacy-conscious traffic measurement is added later, it will be classified as optional where required and will not load before acceptance. This policy and the banner will identify any material change in provider or purpose.
5. No advertising cookies
We do not currently place advertising, retargeting, or cross-context behavioral tracking cookies. Embedded services can sometimes set their own records; this site avoids social media embeds and third-party video players to reduce that exposure.
6. Duration
The essential preference and project board remain until you clear them through provided controls or browser settings. Session technologies, if later used for security, would normally expire when the browsing session ends. Any future analytics duration will be documented here.
7. How to control storage
Use “Clear board” to remove saved references. Browser settings can inspect, block, or delete all site data. Blocking essential storage will not prevent you from reading the site, but the banner may reappear and the project board will not persist between pages.
8. Global Privacy Control and DNT
Because the site does not sell or share personal information for behavioral advertising, Global Privacy Control does not change current behavior. We monitor evolving standards. Do Not Track signals are not uniformly defined, but optional measurement remains subject to the consent choice described above.
9. Changes
We may update this policy if site functionality or applicable requirements change. Material additions will be reflected in the consent interface before optional technology is used. Effective September 8, 2026. Questions: [email protected].
